Sleigh the Steps 2026
Join the Community Education & Recreation Program's Sleigh the Steps holiday challenge!
This challenge was created to encourage people to stay active through the holiday season when we all tend to become less active and wrapped up in the fun holiday gatherings. This challenge is fun, easy and open to everyone!
All you need is a smart watch or activity tracker to keep track of your step movement. Simply share your step count each week with us and that's it! There will be prizes for the top 3 steppers and more. Two years ago when this was run in Green Lake for the first time the group achieved nearly 3 million steps. Last year when we ran this for the first time our group achieved nearly 11 million steps. Can we beat that this year!?

- Extended length of challenge

- Mini Challenges
- Multiple winners (weekly, most improved, most consistent, etc)
